FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Common questions about language, translation, pricing, project scope, and post-launch support.

Can we work entirely in English?

Yes. The initial consultation and all production discussions can be held in Japanese or English, with no additional fee for working in English.

Can you help decide what Japanese customers need to see?

Yes. I can organize information such as services, pricing, access, booking, LINE, forms, FAQs, and contact details around the questions Japanese customers are likely to have. The agreed scope is then reflected in the page structure and bilingual content.

How many pages are included in the bilingual landing-page plan?

It includes one Japanese page and one English page, for a total of two pages. The price reflects English-language project communication, content organization, translation and localization, and review of both language versions.

Can I hire you from anywhere in Japan?

Yes. Projects are handled online throughout Japan. Meeting and file-sharing arrangements are explained during the initial consultation.

Are in-person meetings available?

Meetings are generally held online. In-person meetings may be arranged depending on the project and location. Any travel or accommodation costs will be estimated and agreed in advance.

Can I get in touch before everything is ready?

Yes. You can contact me even if the content, page structure, photos, or requirements are not settled yet. We can start with what you know, organize what needs to be prepared, and confirm what should be quoted separately.

Can quotations and billing also be handled in English?

Yes. Project plans, scope explanations, fee discussions, quotations, invoices, and payment confirmation can all be handled in English. Complex points can also be clarified in an online meeting or an English voice message.

Is translation included?

Basic translation and editing for web readability are included for the written volume stated in the quotation. Translation or review requiring legal, medical, financial, or similar specialist judgment is not handled. Native-language review can be discussed separately when an external collaborator is needed.

Who supplies materials and external-service details?

They do not all need to be ready before the first consultation. Guide prices assume that the client supplies written content, photography, logos, and URLs or embed codes for video, LINE, booking, and similar services. A link or official widget for one contracted service can be included in the quotation. Service selection, contract support, initial data entry, payment onboarding, and API connections are quoted separately when needed.

Who controls the domain and service accounts after launch?

Where practical, the domain, hosting, CMS, analytics, and form accounts are created in or transferred to accounts controlled by the client, with ND SYSTEMS receiving only the access needed for the agreed work. Account ownership, access, handover tasks, and ongoing external-service fees are confirmed in the quotation and agreement for each project.

What is the difference between CMS editing and a custom admin?

The CMS plan uses an established editing service such as microCMS. The custom-admin plan includes purpose-built features such as Google login, an English interface, or business-specific fields. They are separated because the development and maintenance responsibilities are materially different.

Can pages or features be added during the project?

Yes. Any effect on the fee and schedule is explained first, and additional work begins after you approve it.

Can the scope be planned around my budget?

Yes. I can separate what is needed now from features that can be added later, based on your goals and priorities. Listed prices are guide prices for a standard scope, and the final quotation is confirmed before work begins.

Can you update the website after launch?

Yes. Guide prices start from ¥5,500 per month including tax for a static site, ¥11,000 for a CMS site, and ¥33,000 for a site with a custom admin. Monitoring, backup checks, minor updates, and initial troubleshooting and response when issues occur are documented for the agreed plan.

What happens if I do not continue with a maintenance plan?

Maintenance is optional unless the quotation or agreement states otherwise. Before handover, I explain the accounts, external-service fees, editing access, and responsibilities required to keep the agreed website setup running. Later updates or troubleshooting outside a maintenance plan are quoted separately.

Is this an AI website generator?

No. AI supports content organization, translation drafts, coding, and testing. Discovery, requirements, bilingual expression, technical decisions, and final quality are reviewed and managed by ND SYSTEMS.
